Social Networking Introduction
Social Networks and other internet economies such as; facebook, myspace, and twitter has made a dramatic impact on our generation. Social Networking is a very convenient way to keep up with whats going on in the world. My group and I chose to blog about social networking becaus we are apart of the generation that participate and devote time to social networks and internet economies. Throughout the course of the semester and our blogs we hope to achieve an understanding on why our society rely on internet economies and social networks For national and international news as well as politics and even what celebrities are thinking.

Nice to see you're off to a good start. Where you might want to go from here is into a you and your group's definition of social media, defining the parameters of the conversation so your readers understand more fully what your discussion is about, what they should be taking from it, and how to contribute.
ReplyDeleteI think this could be a very interesting blog. However, until the author defines what social networking is and what issues they will focus on, it will be difficult to start an active dialogue. I am looking forward to the growth and depth of the blog over the next few weeks.

ReplyDeleteI think social networking via myspace, twitter, and facebook is good; but I also think that many people abuse this and use these social networking sites to publish inapropriate material.
i agree with both Olga and Medical Fanatics. The discussion on the topic of Social Networking needs more depth. Go deeper into the topic. If you are talking about the economics of it explain it and so on.
ReplyDeleteI'm just not to sure about soical networking site. I don't have a facebook, twitter, or myspace accounts. It's not because I dislike them it's just I think people one these site are childish, and are so worried about being like and having a lot of friends. You don't even really know. These could be crazy people just like the craig list killer. Thinking everything will be okay and it can't happend to you; but it can.
ReplyDeleteI believe that social networks are a great place to meet people and make new friends but it can also have its draw backs. It is not a very private place and anything you post will be known to the world in a couple of minutes. For this reason it is important to know who your friends are and to make sure that any material you have in your page such as pictures and videos are appropraite. Just like Afortune84 said there are weird people out there such as stalkers, and child molestors so always be careful.
