Introduction To Social Networking
Monday, April 4, 2011
I was recently thinking about where would we all be today without social networking. I think that without social networking there would be less communication between one another as well as something for us to do. What i mean by this is without social networking we wouldnt been able to find family and friends throughout the world. We also use social networking as something to do kind of like a hobby. All social networks are available to us in our cellphones therefore we are use to checkin in and seeing what others are doing or saying and commenting on. We look at one another pics and just chat. Like i said it is addicting and without it i dont know how we would function. Do you? How do you think we would be without social networking? Mainly Facebook?

Social Networking
Social Networking has a major part in today's society. Social networking has a lot to do with the way we communicate on a day to day basis. I believe that once we get involved in social networking meaning using Fb, Tweeter, and my space, ect we become addicted to it and have to use it everyday, some all day. Social networking is growing there are many more sites besides the ones we are always talking about, and there are more to come. I believe it has its good and bad reasons as to why people use it but i think as long as your careful and aware of all the possibilities its fine. Social Networking is beneficial to all of us, therefore it will continue to grow.

Services Of Social Networking
What is social network? Social Network is a category of internet applications that help connect friends, business partners,or individuals with specific intrests by providing free services such as photos, presentations, e-mail, blogging, an so on using a variety of tools.
What are the services of social networking? A service that builds online communities by providing an online space for people to build free homepages and that provides basic communication and support tools for conducting different activities in the social network.
People think that social networking is only for communicating or to find jobs, but as you read social networking provides many capabilities and services some may include Wikis which can be used to jointly creat documents, Instant messaging (IM) capabilities, online voting may be available to poll member opinions, and users can bookmark self-created content. Social network is growing larger everyday and more users are learning how to do so many great things on social networking sites. Students are even doing class presentations through social networks.
Do you think that social network will be the best thing that ever hit the world? What services you believe social networking sites will not be able to do in the future?

Riots caused from social networking
Social networking is a big part of everyone life who has access to a computer or phone. This blog is about the teenagers who planned to meet up at Mayfair mall and damaged Boston Store. Social networking can be a negative and positive thing. There was a riot at Mayfair mall on Sunday January 2nd, 2010. There were hundreds of teenagers who met up at the mall all at the same time because of face book, which is a social network site. The police investigated face book to track and find out who were all involved in the riot. The story made breaking news on channels, six and twelve, and also made newspaper headlines. When one of the teen was asked why they decided to trash Mayfair, he responded, “We did it just to have fun”. The mall closed early do to the amount of damage the teens had caused, they had knocked down racks, they stole, and even when chased out of the store, they ran around and jumped on cars in the parking lot. The teens organized and planned this riot on face book. The teens posted, and in boxed what time and day to meet up at the mall and cause the riot. Without face book there might have not been enough time and planning to gather all of the teens. I think that this is one of the reasons why I say social networking can be a negative thing. Do you think that this riot would have accrued if there were no face book? Should teens be banned from social networking because of this riot? Now since the riot has happened, the police are always on face book, investigating, and invading people privacy of their face book pages. Should the police be allowed to look in or have access to everyone pages, to make sure a incident like this one doesn’t occur again? Just a couple of questions please comment and let me know what you think.

Theirs nothing wrong with a little help from social networking because people use it for difference reasons such as finding old friends, classmates back in the days, relatives thats been gone from family for years. Its not only that we can use it for jobs, communication between people long distance. ITs ok if you want to talk through facebook, yahoo, tagged, as well as others through a social network .

Business owners promote and conduct there business through social networks, people also promote events.
Cons: Social Networking is a great way to connect but always be careful and know the person you are allowing to view your information. Many people argue that having a page on facebook or other internet economies open to the public is a great way for people to stalk you without you even knowing. Most internet economies dont have a age limit so anyone at any age can easily make a profile, which can result in harrassment or unwanted attention from someone.
